Join the Hastings Police Department in supporting breast cancer awareness through the Pink Patch Project this October. Purchase pink patches, pint glasses, and color-changing cups at Hastings City Hall or the Police Department. Proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society.

The Mayor for a Day Essay Contest is now open to 4th-6th graders in Hastings! Young students are invited to share their ideas on what they would do if they were mayor for a day. The winner will receive $100, recognition in Minnesota Cities magazine, and the unique opportunity to shadow Mayor Mary Fasbender as she leads a City Council meeting.
