Good morning, Hastings and our lovely neighbors! This is HastingsNow.com, bringing you the pulse of our vibrant community in today's LOCAL 10!

First up, we've got a shout-out to all the budding football stars in our midst. The Hastings Raiders Football has opened registration for its Little Raiders Football program. So, if you have a 5th or 6th grader who's eager to strap on the helmet and hit the gridiron, now's the time! And let's not forget our middle school warriors, for whom there's a separate program for 7th and 8th graders. Head over to HastingsLittleRaiders.com to learn more and get your young Raider registered.

On the job front, The Confluence Hotel is setting the stage for a career fair on June 8th and 9th. They're eager to meet and recruit Front Desk Associates, Housekeepers, Bartenders, and Banquet Servers among other positions. Dust off those resumes and come down to Hastings City Hall to explore opportunities at The Confluence and IDM Hospitality.

Speaking of gatherings, St Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Parish has an open invitation to their June 6 Catholic Watchmen meeting. It's going to be a delightful evening of fellowship on the rectory patio, complete with drinks, snacks, and cigars. Feel free to swing by anytime between 6:30-9:30 p.m. for some camaraderie under the stars.

Switching gears to baseball, the Hastings Raiders had a tough loss against Eastview, ending the season with a 2-0 L. But let's not forget to celebrate our Seniors, whose dedication, leadership, and infectious smiles have helped build a strong foundation for future Raiders. We're already looking forward to next season!

For our foodies, A Taste of Tayb is making a tasty proposition. With a diverse menu ranging from Italian to Chinese, soul food, and even boxed lunches, they're ready to bring an international culinary experience right to your event.

In the world of interiors, we turn to Bella Casa Interiors, Inc. Founded in 2009 by Cheryl Smith-Mohn, Bella Casa has weathered the storms of recession and other challenges to become the Kitchen and Bathroom Remodel Specialists of Red Wing and surrounding communities. Cheryl and her dedicated team continue to bring creativity and problem-solving to every project.

Hastings Ford is celebrating a successful collaboration with Astral Technology of Northfield. Special thanks to Zach Large and the entire staff for ensuring a smooth delivery of a factory-ordered 350 Transit.

Natural Dental has a tip for all you black coffee lovers out there. While a dark brew may be a morning ritual, it's worth noting that coffee's acidity can potentially harm your teeth. Their suggestion? Add a dash of milk or cream to your cup of joe to decrease the acidity and safeguard your smile.

Lah-Tee-Dah Boutique is unveiling some fresh arrivals! Check out their new graphic tee, tank, and a patriotic red, white & blue poncho that is sure to be the talk of the town.

And finally, a massive congratulations to the Hastings High School Seniors and a heartfelt thank you to the donors! The 2023 Awards Night saw 113 scholarships awarded, amounting to a staggering $200,800. What an amazing show of support for our young scholars!

And that's a wrap for today's LOCAL 10! Remember, our community thrives on your contributions. Head over to HastingsNow.com to add your brand to the Local 10. Thank you for the love, Hastings and neighbors. Here's to another great day in our wonderful town!
