Founded in 1974, DARTS is a nonprofit organization serving seniors in Dakota County and Southern Washington County, Minnesota​​. At its core, DARTS is about creating connections that enrich aging, a mission that Lindy lives and breathes every day in her role. Lindy plays a vital part in helping seniors lead more independent, fulfilling lives by providing them with services like transportation, light housework, outdoor chores, home repair, caregiving resources, and volunteer opportunities​​.

For Lindy and the DARTS team, being a part of the Hastings Senior Expo wasn't just an opportunity to showcase their services. It was about continuing their commitment to the community they've been a part of for years. DARTS already runs a memory care cafe and loop transportation in Hastings. Participation in the Expo was another way of reaching out and serving seniors in the area, ensuring they can live independently and with dignity for as long as possible.
